Guess who is turning 17 this month? On February 24, 2025, Cargo Eye Care of Las Colinas will celebrate 17 amazing years of serving the eye care needs of the families of Las Colinas and Irving.

Meet Our Experienced Providers
We know that excellent outcomes depend on excellent care by experienced providers. And that’s just what we have here at Cargo Eye Care of Las Colinas.
Dr. Jonathan Cargo completed his formal training at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. Following externships with the Department of Ophthalmology at University of Florida in Gainesville, Visual Health and Surgery Center in Lake Worth and Broward Optometry Clinic in Fort Lauderdale, Dr. Cargo came home and founded Cargo Eye Associates in 2002. Dr. Cargo specializes in ocular therapeutics and disease treatment in addition to comprehensive eye care for children through adults. He holds an extended scope license that allows him to prescribe oral medications as well as treat glaucoma. He also has advanced training in Laser and Minor Surgery as well as pediatric myopia.
Dr. Reena Patel is a therapeutic optometrist and glaucoma specialist who joined the practice as an associate optometrist in 2017. But she’s been part of the Cargo Eye Care family since 2009, when she got her start in the field as an optometric assistant. Dr. Patel has expertise in contact lens fitting, and has helped hundreds of patients find the perfect fit to help them achieve their best possible vision.
